Wool Grow Buds

An incredible natural product made from New Zealand sheep wool. These Wool Grow Buds improve water retention of growing media and are able to hold 1.5 – 2 times their weight in water, this serves two purposes:

1. You have more margin for error if you forget to water your plants. It also reduces the amount of times you have to water your plants. Fabulous for pot plants and hanging baskets.
2. As the Wool Grow Buds retain the moisture it can minimise the impact of overwatering plants and will hold the moisture, releasing it as the plant requires.

The Grow Buds also improve soil structure when incorporated. As the Grow Buds expand with the water, this will also increase the porosity of the soil for optimum root growth.

As the Grow Buds slowly break down, they release essential nutrients and organic matter into your soil helping your plants grow all year round.

Wool Grow Buds can be used on top of the soil as a mulch to suppress weeds, provide nutrition and retain water in the growing media. 

Wool Grow Buds can also be incorporated into growing media/soil as an additive to improve the water holding capacity, soil structure and provide nutrition.
