Tamarillo Large Red

A subtropical, so plant in a sheltered position away from winds and frost. Regular watering and heavy mulching is crucial, especially during dry periods and will encourage good fruit set. Producing in 18 months but short-lived so replace every 3 to 4 years. Ripe fruit are bronze-red with a tangy flavour.
