Propagation Tray

Having the correct tools to help you raise seedlings is essential for success.

Our Kings Seeds Propagation trays are made of quality plastic and if taken care of, will last many years. Used by gardeners and growers for propagating small seedlings to be pricked out and grown on as transplants or used to produce crops like microgreens or babyleaf.

To ensure good hygiene, it is important to clean the trays thoroughly between subsequent use to ensure no disease or microorganisms are transferred from one sowing to the next. Just place trays in a large tub of hot soapy water and give them a good scrub and then leave them to air dry in the sun.

When using, line the bottom of the tray with a couple of pieces of newspaper, which will ensure the seed raising mix doesn’t come through the holes in the bottom but the paper still allows moisture to drain.
