Organic Broccoli Waltham

Waltham broccoli is a long-standing heirloom variety, with origins dating back to the 1950s. A traditional, mid-to-dark heading broccoli variety known for its excellent flavour and compact plants it will produce heads with medium to large beads and longer stalks. It’s a cool-season broccoli, meaning it thrives in cooler regions and is often planted for autumn, early winter and early spring harvests. It is heat sensitive. Waltham broccoli is known for producing many side shoots after the main head has been harvested, extending the harvest period.
