A selection of the native tea tree with attractive blush-pink flowers and bushy branches of small, dark-green leaves with a sharp point.
An evergreen, excellent for erosion control, a nursery crop for slower growing natives species to regenerate, oil production, firewood and as a valuable food source for bees.
Tolerates most sites and soil types. The tiny seed should only be pressed into the surface of seed raising mix and barely covered. Filtered light and even moisture will aid germination, avoid over-watering. Lightly prune after flowering to maintain a compact plant.
Germination Capacity: Seed has been sustainably foraged and has not undergone commercial seed cleaning or grading. Natives can be erratic germinators and naturally low in germination capacity. Check expected germination rate under Product Information.
Surface Sow: Requires light to germinate. Sow seed on the surface. Press seed down into the soil. Keep moist.
