Slate-grey, double petalled flowers on strong, upright stems. An easy-to-grow cut flower, fantastic both fresh and dried. Early to bloom, harvest when one-third of the blossoms are open on a stem. Cold tolerant and prefers to be direct sown, or stratify seed if sowing indoors.
Stratify: Chilling seeds in the fridge for 2-3 weeks prior to sowing will promote germination by breaking seed dormancy.
Caution: All parts of this plant are poisonous, including the seeds. Exercise extreme caution around children and pets.
