Climbing dry bean that yields well. The Hopi beige bean, also known as Hopi Light Yellow bean, originated with the Hopi Tribe at Hotevilla, Arizona. It’s an heirloom variety traditionally cultivated by the Hopi people of the American Southwest and is well-adapted to arid climates. The Hopi have stewarded this bean, and it thrives in dry conditions with scant rainfall.
