An upright perennial with distinctive, pompom-like, white, double, spurless flowers in early spring and summer. Perfect in a cottage garden, the foliage makes a low ferny mound of dark, grey-green leaves. Excellent for cutting and a useful border plant.
Lady Nora Barlow 1885-1989 was a noted British botanist, geneticist and head keeper at London Zoo. She was the granddaughter of naturalist Charles Darwin.
